Bawburgh
Situated 6 miles west of Norwich, Bawburgh is a picturesque village with a mill that was mentioned in the Domesday Book. Until 1967 this mill was working but, having undergone conversion, it now provides homes that overlook the River Yare.
Since 1016, pilgrims have travelled far and wide to worship at the burial site of St Walston, the patron of agriculture and farm workers, which is within the grounds of Bawburgh Parish Church. The villagers still pay homage once a year to the 11th century Saint.
